Kolkata : Milind K Deouskar, General Manager, Eastern Railway inspected Kanchrapara Workshop. Principal Heads of the Departments of Headquarters and Divisional Railway Manager/Sealdah, Officers of the Sealdah division and Kanchrapara Workshop accompanied General Manager in his inspection. Chief Workshop Manager, Kanchrapara Workshop also joined the inspection along with GM ER.
General Manager, Eastern Railway started his inspection with Loco Complex wherein he inspected bogie section, traction motor section, coil selection, armature section and apparatus section. He inaugurated new PU paint shed and Mica under cutting machine there. He visited Wheel Shop also.
Afterwards, he moved towards Carriage Complex where GM ER visited various shops and inspected POHed EMU rake and flagged it off too. He also inaugurated Dust Free Room.
Later, General Manager, Eastern Railway inspected HLR Store Depot, HLR/Kanchrapara Cutting Yard. Thereafter, he visited the Art Gallery ‘Converse’ and Heritage Museum ‘Treasure Trove’.
Milind K Deouskar, General Manager, Eastern Railway reviewed performance of Kanchrapara Workshop and addressed the gathering. GM ER also interacted with the representatives of the Unions in Kanchrapara Workshop. Everywhere he interacted with Railway staff & field workers and instructed them in different directions for further improvement of their performance.
