SEALDAH DIVISION INTRODUCES QR CODE FACILITY IN ALL UTS AND PRS COUNTER

Kolkata: Sealdah Division has achieved an unique milestone in its digital transformation recently. The Division has managed to generate a whooping 12 crore rupees through the UTS on Mobile App, a testament to its growing popularity among passengers.

In a continuous endeavour to enhance ease of busyness & passenger convenience, Sealdah Division has ensured widespread availability of the UTS on Mobile App. By making the App easily accessible, division has empowered passengers to book tickets seamlessly and enjoy a hassle-free travel experience.

In a bid to further streamline the ticketing process and eliminate the inconvenience caused by human interface and change related issues, Sealdah division has now introduced a QR Code facility at all UTS and PRS counters across the entire jurisdiction. With this new feature, passengers can conveniently make payment without the need for exact change, thereby reducing waiting times and minimizing the inconvenience of overpayment etc.

The implementation of the QR code facility is yet another significant step towards a more efficient and passenger friendly ticketing system. By adopting innovative technologies and focusing on customer satisfaction, Sealdah Division is setting new benchmarks under the guidance of Pawan Kumar, Sr. DCM and under the inspiring leadership of Deepak Nigam, DRM Sealdah.
