Kolkata: The city witnessed a spectacular celebration of heritage, couture, and culture with the Chamak Dhamak Fashion & Lifestyle Exhibition – Kolkata Edition, a two-day luxury trunk show hosted at ITC Royal Bengal on July 26-27, 2025. The event brought together some of India’s most sought-after designers, lifestyle curators, and artisan brands under one glamorous roof, creating a perfect blend of style and sustainability.
The exhibition was inaugurated in the gracious presence of Kalyan Banerjee, Member of Parliament, Serampore, along with leading influencers and fashion icons of Kolkata, including Uzma Firoz and Naheed Begum.
With a mission to revive India’s handwoven heritage, artisanal traditions, and timeless craftsmanship, Chamak Dhamak showcased over 60 designer and lifestyle stalls, each celebrating a unique aspect of Indian fashion – from intricate embroidery and luxurious silks to contemporary yet heritage-inspired silhouettes.
Arti Modi and Sumit Banka, the event organizers, collaborated with Green Entertainment as the official event partner.
Speaking about the event, Mazhar Badgujar, Founder of Green Entertainment, said:
“Chamak Dhamak isn’t just an exhibition, it’s a movement where style meets soul. We are proud to create a platform that highlights sustainability, conscious fashion, and the incredible artistry of Indian designers.”
The organizers, Arti Modi and Sumit Banka, added:
“Our vision with Chamak Dhamak is to curate an experience where fashion tells stories, celebrates traditions, and connects with the modern shopper who values both luxury and legacy.”
The exhibition featured live styling sessions, luxe lounge zones, and glam photo booths, giving visitors a truly immersive experience. It became a destination for designers, shoppers, and creators to come together over couture, culture, and conscious fashion.
