Kolkata: As part of India’s 79th Independence Day celebrations, Manipal Hospitals, one of the country’s leading healthcare providers, unveiled “The Right Dose”—a comprehensive educative health manual designed to empower communities with practical, accessible medical information.

The booklet addresses a wide range of health concerns including advanced cardiac care, early cancer detection, women’s health, osteoporosis prevention, digestive and urinary health, neurological therapy, and chronic disease management. Complex medical concepts have been simplified into actionable advice, reflecting Manipal’s seven decades of clinical excellence, its 38 hospitals, and a network of over 7,200 doctors.

“On Independence Day, as we celebrate freedom for our country, it is equally vital to embrace independence in personal healthcare,” said Dr. Ayanabh Debgupta, Regional COO (East), Manipal Hospitals. “The Right Dose translates complex medical knowledge into easy, practical guidance, extending healthcare wisdom beyond hospital walls and into everyday life.”

The manual covers conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, breast cancer, Parkinson’s disease, osteoporosis, endometriosis, urinary infections, paediatric neurosurgical disorders, and diabetic kidney damage. It also highlights innovations like robotic cardiac surgery, reconstructive surgery for cancer survivors, and personalized neurological treatments—while encouraging preventive lifestyle choices for long-term wellness.

Manipal Hospitals Eastern India, with units in Mukundapur, EM Bypass, Salt Lake, Broadway, and Dhakuria, has been at the forefront of bringing advanced healthcare closer to communities. The Right Dose extends this philosophy by ensuring that quality health knowledge is as accessible as healthcare services themselves.

The booklet will be distributed across all Manipal Hospital units, at community health camps, and digitally via the hospital’s online platforms, ensuring it reaches the widest possible audience.
