Kolkata: Myntra Jabong India Private Limited (MJIPL), the B2B wholesale arm of Myntra, has announced the launch of Souragya, a premium ethnic wear brand co-created with cricketing legend Sourav Ganguly. The launch comes just ahead of Durga Puja, marking Ganguly’s entry into the world of fashion.
Inspired by Bengal’s rich cultural traditions, Souragya blends Indian craftsmanship with contemporary design to offer a luxurious take on ethnic wear. The debut collection features nearly 100 styles, with plans to expand further in the coming months.
Showcasing Bengal’s artistry, the collection highlights Kantha embroideries, Tant and Jamdani weaves, and Batik prints, alongside ceremonial attire such as sherwanis, kurtas with mayurpankh dhotis, churidars, tapering pants, salwars, and elegant gamchas.

Speaking about the launch, Sourav Ganguly said:
“Souragya is a reflection of my love for our culture and my vision of making it relevant for today’s generation. The focus was on creating timeless, refined, and versatile pieces that celebrate craftsmanship while embracing modern style.”
Suman Saha, CXO & Head of House of Brands at MJIPL, added:
“We are delighted to collaborate with Sourav Ganguly for Souragya. The collection is an ideal festive choice, rooted in heritage yet contemporary in design, and a strategic addition to our premium ethnic wear portfolio.”
With Souragya, Sourav Ganguly brings his leadership and vision into fashion, aiming to redefine ethnic wear with sophistication, quality, and cultural pride.
The collection will be exclusively available on the Myntra app and website.
