Kolkata:The Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), Ministry of Defence, will organize a Job Fair for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) on 29 October 2025, starting at 7:00 AM, at Suryodaya Auditorium, Vijay Durg (Fort William), Kolkata, West Bengal – 700021.
The initiative aims to provide a dynamic platform for former Armed Forces personnel to explore second career opportunities in the civilian workforce. The event will connect industry employers from diverse sectors with a pool of highly skilled, disciplined, and experienced professionals suitable for roles in leadership, technical trades, engineering, security services, hospitality, administration and more.
Participating employers will benefit from free registration, job postings, stall allotment, and access to resumes of potential candidates.
Ex-Servicemen attending the fair are advised to carry their ESM I-Card along with five copies of their resume or biodata.
The job fair is being conducted in collaboration with ESMHire, an online employment facilitation platform for ex-servicemen.
