Kolkata: In a bid to combat the ongoing scorching summer heatwave and to provide passengers much needed access to clean and refreshing drinking water, Sealdah Station has installed 12 nos.
These latest technology water coolers, have been strategically placed across the station premises, including platforms 1, 5, 6, 9, 11, 12, 15-16, 16-17, 19-20, 21 and 5-6 (2 units), in Sealdah North, South, and Main sections. Each cooler is equipped with advanced UV purification technology to eliminate harmful microorganisms and provide safe, potable drinking water.
The installation of these water coolers is a significant step towards ensuring the well-being of our passengers during the severe summer months with focus of GM/ER Sri Milind K Deouskar towards passenger amenities and passenger comfort guided by inspiring leadership of DRM Shri Deepak Nigam, Sealdah Division is committed to offer a clean, hygienic, and comfortable travel experience for esteemed customers.
