Birbhum, Raju Mal: The renowned Chaldhowanipara Bottala Club in Rampurhat town, established in 1975, has marked its 50th anniversary with a grand celebration of Kali Puja .This year’s theme ,”Tribal Community ” has been beautifully reflected in the club’s decorations and arrangements.

The main attraction is the stunning 14- foot tall Kali idol , crafted by artist Chotka Mondal , which took several days to complete .The club’s president,Gour Gopal Mondal,shared that they have organised a blood donation camp on the occasion of Bhut Chaturdashi, where 15 people participated.

The puja was inaugurated by West Bengal’s Deputy Speaker ,Dr. Ashish Banarjee, along with local councilors and other distinguished guests .The celebrations will feature three days of cultural programs.

Two days of music performances by local artists.Baul Song Festival organised by the state government’s Information and Cultural Department. The total budget for this year’s Puja is Rs.3 lakhs.

This golden jubilee celebration is a testament to the club’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and promoting community engagement.
