Kolkata: Drawing Inspiration from Dr. Prema Gandhi, President BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) of BSF Eastern Command, a special event was organized by the BWWA of Border Security Force for the children of the orphanage at Siddhartha United Social Welfare Mission Orphanage, Chinar Park. BWWA President Dr. Prema Gandhi and other members of the association actively participated in this program.
During the event, a lively and colorful cultural performance was organized for children’s entertainment. The children participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their talents through engaging performances and thoroughly enjoying every moment of the event. Apart from this, exciting sports competitions were also organized for the children and prizes were distributed to encourage the winners. All the children living in the orphanage were also given essential items as a gift. The children thoroughly enjoyed the program which was organized keeping them at the center. The innocent faces lit up on receiving love and affection.
The head Guru of Siddharth United Social Welfare Mission Orphanage expressed his gratitude to BSF and said that such social efforts awaken a new ray of hope and happiness in the lives of the children of the orphanage. He also said that BSF not only protects the borders but also fulfills social responsibilities with full devotion.
On this occasion, BWWA President Dr. Prema Gandhi also shared her views and said that BWWA has always been serious about its social responsibility and the association has been organizing such social activities from time to time with the help of its members. She described the time spent with the children as a pleasant memorable experience. She also inspired everyone to keep trying according to their ability for positive change in the society. BWWA President Dr. Prema Gandhi finally wished all the children for their bright future and thanked Siddharth United Social Welfare Mission Orphanage for this memorable experience with the children and this opportunity.
