Event to Support Indian Para Athletes Ahead of World Championships in New Delhi
Kolkata: Sportiz today unveiled the 10th edition of the JBG Kolkata Marathon at an exclusive launch event hosted at The Lalit Great Eastern, Kolkata. The milestone edition, scheduled for 30th November 2025, is set to witness participation from over 15,000 runners across multiple categories.
What began a decade ago as a modest trail run has now grown into one of Kolkata’s premier running festivals, embracing the spirit of “Cholo Dourai.” This year, the event makes a historic shift to Red Road, Maidan, offering participants a world-class route against the city’s most iconic backdrop.
Fitness Icons as Ambassadors
Renowned fitness advocate Milind Soman and his wife Ankita Konwar will continue as the brand ambassadors. Their consistent association has inspired countless citizens to embrace fitness and active lifestyles.
Philanthropic Mission
The 2025 edition carries a strong social cause — raising funds for Indian Para Athletes representing the nation at the upcoming World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi (September 27 – October 5, 2025). On race day, Kolkata will run not just for health and joy but also in solidarity with its para-athletes.
