Kolkata : Skechers, The Comfort Technology Company®, marked a major milestone in Kolkata with the grand opening of its relocated and expanded store at South City Mall. The new 2,453 sq. ft. outlet, nearly three times larger than the previous store, was inaugurated by Bollywood actor and Skechers’ new brand ambassador Kartik Aaryan, making his first official appearance for the brand.
The flagship destination now houses Skechers’ complete lifestyle and performance footwear collections, an expanded apparel range, and a dedicated sports section. The store also introduces East India’s first Skechers digital façade, redefining retail experience standards in the region.
10th Skechers Community Goal Challenge
The re-opening coincided with the 10th edition of the Skechers Community Goal Challenge, which saw participants collectively achieve 1,000 kilometres on treadmills, powered by Kartik Aaryan’s energy and encouragement.
On crossing the milestone, Skechers donated 100 pairs of children’s footwear to the Khel Foundation, a Kolkata-based charitable trust dedicated to nurturing underprivileged sports talent through scholarships, mentoring, and structured opportunities.
