Kolkata : In a groundbreaking achievement for Eastern India’s healthcare sector, Manipal Hospital, EM Bypass, has successfully completed 1,000 robotic total knee replacement (TKR) surgeries in less than two years, the fastest in the region and among the quickest in the country. The milestone was led by Dr. Vikash Kapoor, Cluster Director – Orthopaedics, Manipal Hospital EM Bypass and Manipal Hospital Mukundapur.
To celebrate the occasion, the hospital hosted a special event where the patients became the stars of the evening. Those who had undergone robotic knee replacement showcased their newfound mobility and confidence through dhunuchi dances, ramp walks, and fitness demonstrations, symbolizing how technology and care had given them a new lease on life.
