Registrations for the World’s First World Athletics Gold Label 25K Race Open
Kolkata : The Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata (TSW25K), one of India’s largest participative sporting festivals, marks a historic milestone this year as it celebrates its 10th anniversary. Scheduled for Sunday, December 21, 2025, the event stands tall as the world’s first World Athletics Gold Label 25K race, bringing together elite athletes, passionate amateur runners, and fitness enthusiasts from across the globe.
Promoted by Procam International, the race has inspired a nation over the last decade with its message of transformation, inclusivity, and community spirit. Starting tomorrow, Friday, September 12, 2025, registrations will open for both on-ground and virtual categories at tatasteelworld25k.procam.in.
A Decade of Difference
Since its inception, the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata has grown beyond the format of a traditional road race. It has:

India’s running culture has witnessed tremendous growth, with a 40% rise in running clubs, more local races, and 23% more women taking up distance running. The TSW25K has been at the heart of this movement, weaving Kolkata’s cultural essence into a vibrant fitness celebration.

- On-Ground Categories: 25K, 10K, Ananda Run (4.5 km), Senior Citizen Run & Champions with Disability (2.5 km).
- Opens: Friday, September 12, 7 AM
- Closes: Tuesday, November 25 or until full.
- Virtual Categories: 25K, 10K, Ananda Run (5 km).
- Opens: Friday, September 12, 7 AM
- Closes: Monday, December 15 or until full.
To promote inclusivity, a reserved quota of entries will be available for women participants in both 25K and 10K categories.
