Kolkata: Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan is set to inaugurate a new showroom of Kalyan Jewellers on Kankurgachi Road in Kolkata on October 28 at 5 pm. The new outlet will be the brand’s fifth showroom in Kolkata and its 12th across West Bengal.
The showroom will offer a wide range of gold, diamond, bridal and traditional jewellery collections. The launch is part of Kalyan Jewellers’ efforts to strengthen its presence in Kolkata and expand access to its jewellery designs and retail services.
Speaking about the expansion, Ramesh Kalyanaraman, Executive Director of Kalyan Jewellers, said Kolkata remains an important market for the company. He expressed confidence that the new showroom would bring the brand’s jewellery collections and customer services closer to people across the city.
To mark the opening, the company has announced special offers for customers, including up to 40% off on making charges, zero deduction on old gold exchange and a special gold rate of ₹13,570 per gram, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
The company said its jewellery is BIS-hallmarked and undergoes multiple purity checks. Customers will also receive the brand’s four-level assurance certificate, which covers gold purity, free lifetime maintenance, detailed product information and transparent exchange and buy-back policies.
The new showroom will feature several of the brand’s collections, including Muhurat for wedding jewellery, Mudhra for handcrafted antique designs, Nimah for temple jewellery, Glo for diamond jewellery and Ziah for solitaire-style diamond jewellery.
Other collections expected to be available include Anokhi for uncut diamonds, Apoorva for special occasions, Antara for wedding diamonds, Hera for everyday diamond jewellery, Rang for precious-stone jewellery and Lila, which features coloured stones and diamond designs.
Sara Ali Khan’s appearance at the October 28 inauguration is expected to add a celebrity highlight to the launch. The new showroom will further expand Kalyan Jewellers’ retail presence in Kolkata, offering customers a wider selection of jewellery for weddings, festivals and everyday occasions.
