Mumbai : Inspired by the glow of festive lights, reflections on water and the flickering flames of traditional diyas, Mia by Tanishq has introduced its new jewellery collection, ‘Lightscapes’, featuring more than 230 designs in gold, natural diamonds and coloured stones.
The collection brings together contemporary designs and festive influences, with options ranging from lightweight everyday jewellery to statement pieces for celebrations, weddings and special occasions. The designs draw inspiration from the different forms and movements of light, translating them into layered necklaces, sculptural earrings, pendants, rings and bracelets.

Available in 9KT and 14KT gold, the collection features fluid gold shapes, intricate diamond arrangements and textured surfaces designed to reflect light. The range includes jhumkis, dangler earrings and other versatile pieces intended to complement both traditional festive outfits and contemporary everyday wear.
A key feature of Lightscapes is its focus on jewellery that can be worn beyond special occasions. A large part of the collection is priced below ₹50,000, positioning it as an option for personal purchases and festive gifting.
Colour Edit Adds a Vibrant Touch
Alongside the main collection, Mia by Tanishq has introduced the ‘Lightscapes – Colour Edit’, comprising 67 designs in 9KT gold. The range uses coloured stones in distinctive cuts, including hexagonal, kite, baguette, octagonal and custom tilak shapes.
The Colour Edit includes everyday stud earrings, colourful pendants, stackable rings, cocktail rings and lariat necklaces. It also features contemporary interpretations of Navratna jewellery, along with convertible hoops and drop earrings that offer multiple styling options.
The designs are intended to provide greater flexibility for consumers looking to add colour to festive outfits while choosing pieces that remain suitable for everyday use.
Focus on Contemporary, Everyday Jewellery
Shyamala Ramanan, Business Head of Mia by Tanishq, said the collection reflects changing consumer preferences for jewellery that combines contemporary styling with versatility. She noted that buyers are increasingly looking for designs that can be worn during celebrations as well as incorporated into their regular wardrobes.
Ishita Kumar, Head of Design at Mia by Tanishq, said the collection takes inspiration from the emotional significance of light across cultures and celebrations. According to her, cascading festive lights influenced the layered necklaces and hoop designs, while the sparkle of diyas floating on rivers inspired open rings embellished with diamonds.
The collection reflects Mia by Tanishq’s focus on contemporary fine jewellery that combines distinctive design with everyday wearability. The brand is looking to reach consumers through its retail network and e-commerce platforms, particularly those seeking versatile jewellery for festive occasions, gifting and personal styling.
