Techno India University Honors 400 Educators at The Dronacharya Awards Ceremony

Kolkata : The Dronacharya Awards Ceremony, a grand event celebrating the exceptional contributions of educators, was held on 5 November 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Seminar Hall of Techno India University (EM-4, Sector V, Salt Lake, Kolkata).

The ceremony honoured 400 distinguished Heads of Institutions, Subject Teachers and Chief Coordinators from across West Bengal for their profound impact and dedication to the field of education.

The event was graced by several eminent dignitaries, including Ujjal Biswas, Hon’ble Minister, Department of Science, Technology & Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal; Darshana Banik, Actress; Prof. Manoshi RoyChowdhury, Co-Chairperson, Techno India Group and Co-Chancellor, Techno India University; Dr. Chiranjib Bhattacharya, Vice-Chancellor, Jadavpur University and President, West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education; Pauline Laravoire, Sustainability Director, Techno India Group; and Dr. Tapas Mukherjee, Director, Techno India Group.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Manoshi RoyChowdhury emphasized the pivotal role of educators, stating:

“The Dronacharya awardees are the true architects of our society. They don’t just impart knowledge; they ignite the critical thought, creativity, and moral compass that will guide the next generation of leaders. This ceremony is our profound acknowledgment that the future of West Bengal is being built, brick by brick, in their classrooms.”
