Airtel IPTV’s Independence Day Watchlist Puts Courage, Sacrifice and Gratitude in Focus

Kolkata : This Independence Day, Airtel and Netflix are inviting viewers to revisit stories of courage, sacrifice and resilience through a special watchlist on Airtel IPTV, led by Operation Safed Sagar.

Inspired by the Indian Air Force’s Golden Arrows Squadron and its role during the 1999 Kargil War, Operation Safed Sagar takes viewers closer to the courage, precision and sacrifice of air warriors who served under some of the most challenging conditions of the conflict.

The initiative also brings a nationwide gratitude campaign, #MillionThankYou, encouraging people to express their appreciation for the Indian Air Force.

Airtel has set up Thank You Stations across 11 cities in 10 states, while those unable to visit a station can participate through a dedicated WhatsApp journey. Users can send their message of gratitude on WhatsApp at +91 92895 59403.

The film can also be watched online, giving viewers an opportunity to revisit an important chapter of India’s military history.

Seven More Films for the Independence Day Watchlist

Alongside Operation Safed Sagar, Airtel IPTV viewers can explore a selection of films dealing with patriotism, history, duty and sacrifice.

Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata – ZEE5: Set against the backdrop of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, the film highlights the courage of Cama Hospital staff who continued serving people during the crisis.

Patriot ZEE5: The political thriller explores national security, surveillance, privacy and the complex systems involved in protecting a country.

Main Vaapas Aaunga – Netflix: Set against the backdrop of the 1947 Partition, the film explores separation, memory and the emotional bond people share with their homeland.

Sajjan Singh Rangroot – Chaupal: The Punjabi war drama follows a Sikh soldier serving in the British Indian Army during World War I, focusing on duty, loyalty and sacrifice.
