SNU Hosts Nivodhata 2025: A Visionary Orientation for Future Global Leaders

Kolkata : Sister Nivedita University (SNU), under the aegis of Techno India Group, unveiled Nivodhata 2025, a transformative orientation programme welcoming its new batch of undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Unlike conventional inductions, Nivodhata 2025 symbolized SNU’s forward-looking vision—to nurture students not merely for careers, but for leadership in an innovation-driven, globally connected, and socially responsible world. The event was held at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, setting the stage for a future-ready academic journey.

Igniting Futures – Beyond Degrees

Inspired by the philosophy of Sister Nivedita, the programme highlighted education as a platform for empowerment and leadership. It featured motivational addresses, cultural showcases, and milestone collaborations.

A major highlight was the strategic MOU signing with Federation University, Australia, opening new opportunities for cross-border learning and global mobility. In addition, Salesforce’s participation reinforced SNU’s emphasis on strong industry-academia collaboration.

Adding a symbolic touch, a cake-cutting ceremony with 400 freshers and the Hon’ble Chancellor celebrated unity, growth, and shared aspirations.

Prof. (Dr.) Sanku Bose, Vice-Chancellor of SNU and Group CEO of Techno India Group, remarked:
