Kolkata: The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has launched a road safety campaign in Kolkata by distributing 40 helmets. Under the initiative, FADA has set a target of distributing 1,000 helmets, which will be completed soon with the support of Kolkata Police.
The programme was held at the Alipore Police Training Centre and aims to encourage safe and responsible traffic behaviour among two-wheeler riders.
FADA West Bengal State Chairperson said the organisation remains committed to strengthening road safety culture and considers a helmet not just a safety accessory but a life-saving responsibility.
FADA added that such awareness programmes will continue in the future to help reduce road accidents.
