Regulation Of Trains Due To Traffic And Power Block Over Howrah Division

Kolkata : Periodic maintenance of tracks, signals & overhead electrification (OHE) is crucial to ensure the safe & efficient operation of railway system. Regular and systematic maintenance of this component helps prevent disruption and delays, ensuring trains run on schedule and extend the lifespan of railway infrastructure, contributing to the overall safety & reliability of train operation.

Keeping in the mind the need for maintenance, integrated mega traffic & power block has been planned in Howrah-Barddhaman Chord, Howrah-Bandel-Naihati, Barddhaman-Howrah & Khana-Gumani section over Howrah Division on 01.10.2023 (Sunday). Consequently, the train regulations will be as follows:

Cancellation (On 01.10.2023):

From Howrah: 36825, 36827,
From Barddhaman: 36842, 36844
From Bandel : 37749
From Katwa: 37748, 03095
From Azimganj: 03096

Rescheduling  on 01.10.2023 :

37536 Bandel – Naihati local will be rescheduled by 18 minutes.

37535 Naihati – Bandel local local will be rescheduled by 20 minutes.

Moreover, 13151 Kolkata – Jammu Tawi Express, 13031 Howrah – Jaynagar Express, 13053 Howrah – Radhikapur Kulik Express, 12509 Bangaluru – Guwahati Superfast Express, 13015  Howrah – Jamalpur Kaviguru Express and 12347 Howrah – Rampurhat Sahid Express will be suitability controlled enroute  20 minutes, 30 minutes, 40 minutes, 30 minutes, 50 minutes, 30 minutes respectively on 1st October.
