Kolkata: Sealdah Division will be undertaking non-interlocking work at Dum Dum Station from 1st March 2024 to 4th March 2024. During this period, train services will be partially affected. Non-interlocking work is essential for the safe and efficient operation of train movement.
The work will involve the up gradation of railway infrastructure at Dum Dum Station in this work Provision of Hot Standby Dual Visual Display Unit E.I system with two (02) numbers 85 inches VDU-monitor in place of RRI panel with provisioning Multi Section Digital Axle counter in place of track circuits at Dum Dum Jn. station in between Kankurgachi/Kolkata and Barahnagar/Dum Dum Cant/Belgharia at Sealdah –Barrackpore/Barasat/Dankuni section of Sealdah Division.
Due to impact on Train Services passengers are advised to check their train schedules carefully before undertaking any journey during the work period. Consequently, following arrangements in train running have been made as under:

1) UP/PASS SDAH (s) will leave at 17:48 hrs ex BGB by the rake of 34150.

3) 33801 Sealdah – Bangaon will run as GENERAL EMU instead of Ladies spl.
4) 30711 Lakshmikantapur –Majherhat will go to Sealdah (South) instead of Majherhat
5) 30344 Bangaon-Majherhat will be short terminated at Barasat
6) 31925 Sealdah -Gede will return to Ranaghat as Down Passenger Service Ranaghat from Gede.
7) 34062 Bangaon-Canning will be short terminated at Barasat
8) 30346 Bangaon-Majherhat will be short terminated at Barasat.
9) All EMU will stop at all stations en-route.
10) Shantipur-Sealdah Krishak Special will remain suspended from 02.03.2024.
11) Circular railway services on Saturday and Sunday will remain suspended/diverted. For the benefit of the commuters, Division has planned 4 (Four) pairs shuttle services between Tala & Majherhat. Tala – Majherhat Shuttle services will leave Tala at 08:13 hrs., 10:55 hrs., 15:20 hrs. & 17:57 hrs. to reach Majherhat at 08:58 hrs., 11:38 hrs., 16:00 hrs. & 18:40 hrs. respectively and Majherhat – Tala Shuttle services will leave Majherhat at 09:20 hrs., 11:48 hrs., 16:15 hrs & 19:43 hrs. to reach Tala at 09:59 hrs., 12:31 hrs., 16:57 hrs. & 20:19 hrs. respectively.
12) All Kalyani Simanta local will be short originated and terminated from Kalyani Jn. station.
13) 03193/ 03194 Kolkata – Lalgola – Kolkata MEMU will be short terminate at/ short originated from Ranaghat on Saturday & Sunday.
14) 33366 Bangaon – Barasat will extend up to Sealdah instead of Barasat. 33860 Bangaon –Sealdah will be short terminated at Barasat instead of Sealdah on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
