Kolkata: In response to the long standing demand of passengers to enhance booking counters, Sealdah Division has opened yet another Booking Counter at Dumdum Railway Station under the guidance of Santanu Chakraborty, Sr.DCM/SDAH and under the dynamic leadership of DRM/SDAH Deepak Nigam.
The new counter will cater to the need of a large number of passengers who travel with unreserved ticket and hence it’s a significant step towards enhancing passenger convenience at Dumdum station, which is one of the busiest Railway stations in Sealdah Division. The counter will be operational all days of the week.
Passengers can purchase tickets from this newly opened counter which is capable to accept payments in cash and UPI as well.
Deepak Nigam, DRM Sealdah said that opening of the counter will significantly improve the travel experience for passengers, especially during the hot summer months by reducing crowd congestion.
This addition of booking counter highlights Sealdah Division’s continuous commitment to passenger comfort and seamless travel experiences.
