Kolkata : Hope Kolkata Foundation is celebrating its 25 year of service to humankind and children who are in need of shelter, care, treatment and support to have a safe and happy childhood.
The organisation was founded in 1999 and since then it has striven to create a community safe for children and women and till date has made a difference in the lives of more than a million. underserved children, young adults and their families -in the fields of education, protection, psycho- social wellness and financial autonomy.
To mark such a joyous milestone. Hope Kolkata Foundation is organizing its 25 Foundation Day at Nazrul Manch on 9 of November 2024 from 10 am onwards on the theme ‘Unity in Diversity with the support of The Hope Foundation, Ireland and its partner organisations in West Bengal.
Hope Kolkata Foundation organizes this event every year with the belief that this is an empowering platform for children, where they can freely express themselves, showcase their talents, and, most importantly, exercise their right to participate. The fact that it is organized “by the children, for the children, and of the children” highlights the organization’s child-centric approach, fostering a sense of agency, responsibility, and confidence. This event not only celebrates childhood but also reinforces the children’s role in shaping their experiences, making it a vital opportunity for growth and community-building.
Joining us to celebrate the remarkable talents of these children, we are honored to welcome the following distinguished personalities as our Chief Guest and Guests of Honor for the day. The Honorary Founder President of The Hope Foundation Maureen Forrest shall be present and the Secretary of Hope Kolkata Foundation, Sachidananda Das shall be hosting the event on behalf of the organisation.
