Kolkata : Orchids The International School, a leading name in India’s K12 education, in partnership with the much-acclaimed Kolkata Film and Television Institute (KFTI), today announced auditions for ‘Dreamcatchers’ Season 1 – a unique child talent hunt show. ‘Dreamcatchers’ invites talented youngsters between the ages of 5 years and 13 years, passionate about acting, music, and dance, to showcase their skills on prominent platforms.
The auditions are open for students from all schools across Kolkata.
This partnership promises openings for young talents to participate in exclusive auditions for TV serials, facilitated by KFTI. The initiative aims to foster creativity, nurture talent, and provide holistic growth opportunities for students through performing arts.
After two days of auditions, 135 participants will be selected for the semi-final round, taking place on Sunday morning at 10 AM. From these, 45 participants will advance to the final round, representing various age groups.
The break-up of these 45 finalists will be: 15 participants from acting, 15 from music, and 15 from dance. The ‘Grand Finale’ would be held on the 3rd of December, presided over by judges from the KFTI.

Highlights
There are no registration fees for this event.
Each participant will have 5 minutes to showcase his or her talent in front of the judges.
The semi-final round will be held in Newtown, where participants from Joka and Madhyamgram will join.

Renowned Tollywood Actor Jeetu Kamal, who played the character of Satyajit Roy in the 2022 film Aparajito, expressed his excitement, saying, “Anticipation for these auditions is electrifying!
