Kolkata: Eastern Railway is witnessing unprecedented rush of passengers in almost all
mail/express trains, specially North Bengal bound trains during Puja festival. To cater to the
heavy passenger rush, Sealdah Division has planned to run 09 different Puja special trains
throughout the months of October & November 2024 to clear the huge rush of commuters. The
following trains are proposed to run in different directions from Sealdah and Kolkata to
facilitate tourists in the forthcoming festive season and to generate revenue as well:-
