50MP ultra-wide camera takes centre stage

The biggest talking point of the F35 Series is its 50MP Ultra-Wide Natural Selfie Camera. With a 100-degree field of view, the camera is designed to capture larger groups without requiring users to move too far away from the subject.

An AI Auto Wide-Angle Switch is also included, helping the camera automatically adjust the framing when more people need to fit into the shot.

The feature could be particularly useful for family gatherings, weddings, festivals, travel and group outings, where getting everyone into a single selfie can often be difficult.

F35 Pro gets OIS and 4K video recording

The OPPO F35 Pro 5G comes with a 50MP main rear camera featuring OIS, along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The device also includes Natural Tone 2.0, aimed at producing more natural-looking skin tones and colours.

For video creators, both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording. An Ultra-Steady mode is designed to provide more stable footage when recording while moving.

The phone also supports Dual-View Video, allowing users to record simultaneously using the front and rear cameras. Other creative features include Portrait Mode, AI Popout and AI Remix Collage.

8,000mAh battery targets long-term users

Battery life is another major focus of the new F Series. Both the F35 Pro 5G and F35 5G feature an 8,000mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge.

According to OPPO, the battery is designed to retain more than 80% of its original capacity after up to 1,800 charge cycles. The company is marketing this as a 6-Year Durable Battery, targeting consumers who intend to keep their smartphones for several years.

The phones also come with multiple durability features, including IP69K, IP69, IP68 and IP66 water and dust resistance, along with Rainstorm Touch and Military-Grade Shock Resistance.

ColorOS 16 brings AI-powered tools

The F35 Series runs on ColorOS 16, with several AI-powered tools aimed at productivity, security and content creation.

These include AI Recording, AI Ultra-Clear Documents, AI Call Guard and One-Tap Security Guard.

OPPO has also introduced its All-New Trinity Engine, which is designed to optimise system resources and maintain smooth performance. Extended Use Care 2.0 and six-year smoothness protection are also intended to help the phones maintain performance over longer periods.

F35 Pro features a 144Hz AMOLED display

Under the hood, the F35 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX chipset. It also features a 5,000mm² SuperCool VC System designed to improve heat dissipation during demanding workloads.

The Pro model gets a 17.22cm 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED Ultra-Bright Display, while the standard F35 5G features a 16.69cm FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED Ultra-Bright Display.

The higher refresh rates are aimed at delivering smoother scrolling, gaming and video playback.

OPPO expands service presence in West Bengal

West Bengal continues to be an important market for OPPO. The company currently operates 24 exclusive service centres across the state, offering dedicated after-sales support.

Across India, OPPO has more than 620 service centres covering over 500 cities, with support available in 19 languages.

The company is also expanding its Service Center 3.0 Pro network. More than 60 Premium Service Centers are currently operational, while OPPO plans to add more than 150 new Service Center 3.0 Pro centres across India during 2026.

A decade of OPPO’s F Series in India

The F Series has been part of OPPO’s India portfolio for the past decade, beginning with a strong focus on selfie photography. OPPO says more than 30 million F Series smartphones have been sold in India over the last 10 years.

The F35 Series represents the next step in that evolution, shifting the focus from individual selfies towards group photography, content creation, durability and longer everyday usage.

With prices starting at ₹38,999, the F35 Series enters a competitive segment of the Indian smartphone market, where buyers are increasingly looking for a combination of camera performance, battery life, durability and long-term software experience rather than focusing on a single specification.
