BSF Organizes Awareness Program On “Human Trafficking, Child Sexual Abuse”

Kolkata:Border Security Force, 08th Corps, AHTU team, under South Bengal Frontier, in collaboration with Shakti Vahini NGO, Barasat, North 24 Parganas and village members, carried out a special investigation on “Human Trafficking and Child Marriage” by AHTU Team Ramnagar on 13th February. An awareness program on the topic “Prevention” was organized at Kumari ICDS Complex of Kumari village.

In this program, 177 people including members of Shakti Vahini NGO, AHTU team Ramnagar, 08th Vahini, Border Security Force personnel, Kumari village, Ramnagar, Hanskhali participated in this program.

Pradhan, Panchayat members along with Villagers of Village kumari thanked the AHTU, BSF  and NGO for conducting such activities to promote awareness among the School.

A K Arya, DIG, Public Relations Officer, South Bengal Frontier, emphasized the significance of such programs, underscoring the organization’s unwavering commitment to preventing human trafficking and child crimes. In conjunction with NGOs, the AHTU, and BSF conduct awareness campaigns in various border areas to combat serious offenses like juvenile delinquency, cybercrime, and human trafficking.
