Kalyani: The 145th Battalion of South Bengal Frontier, Border Security Force (BSF), in collaboration with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Kalyani, conducted a one-day multi-specialty medical camp on September 24, 2025, at the VIP Lounge of the new passenger terminal, ICP Petrapole. The camp was held under the “Healthy Woman, Empowered Family” campaign.
Specialist doctors from AIIMS Kalyani—including dentists, ophthalmologists, ENT specialists, psychiatrists, and gynecologists—along with nurses and paramedical staff, provided consultations and treatment. The camp benefited a large number of local citizens, BSF personnel and their families, LPAI staff, police personnel, and travelers.
Welcoming the medical team, officers and personnel of the 145th Battalion, along with Chief Medical Officer Dr. Saloni Kumari, emphasized the importance of the initiative.
This effort not only addressed the healthcare needs of BSF personnel but also extended crucial medical support to border communities, reinforcing BSF’s commitment to both security and social welfare in the region.
