Charnock Hospitals and Philips Join Hands to Strengthen Healthcare Infrastructure in West Bengal

Kolkata: Charnock Hospitals has entered into a strategic partnership with Philips to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and technology across its existing and upcoming facilities in West Bengal.

The partnership was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), under which the two organisations will explore the deployment of integrated healthcare technologies covering critical care, radiology, cardiology, patient monitoring and enterprise informatics.

The collaboration is aimed at creating more connected and digitally enabled healthcare environments, allowing medical teams to access information and coordinate patient care more efficiently across departments and hospital locations.

The partnership will also explore joint training and workforce development programmes to enhance the capabilities of healthcare professionals.

Speaking on the occasion, Bharath Sesha, Managing Director, Philips Indian Subcontinent, said the partnership focuses on building connected care environments where technology, data and clinical expertise work together. He added that Philips is pleased to support Charnock Hospitals as it expands its healthcare presence across West Bengal.

Prashant Sharma, Managing Director, Charnock Hospitals, said the hospital group’s priority is to develop facilities that provide consistent and high-quality experiences for both patients and clinicians. He said technology integration and scalable healthcare systems would play an important role in building future-ready hospitals.

The partnership marks a step towards strengthening technology-driven and connected healthcare infrastructure in West Bengal, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and supporting patient-centric care.
