Kolkata: In pursuance of request received from State Government authority, Circular Rail train operations will be regulated on 11.11.2024 (Monday), 12.11.2024 (Tuesday) & 13.11.2024 (Wednesday) for the sake of immersion of goddess Jagadhatri idols. Accordingly certain restrictions will be imposed in Circular Railway services to ensure smooth operations, public safety and to avoid any untoward incidences.
Short terminations & originations at Kolkata:-
Seven (07) EMU services will be short terminated at Kolkata from 07:41 Hrs to 18:58 Hrs and Seven (07) EMU services will be short originated from Kolkata w.e.f. 08:30 Hrs to 20:47 Hrs. Apart, one (01) Bongaon – Majherhat Local will be short terminated at Barasat at 08:35 Hrs.
Diversions and short terminations/origination at Sealdah and Ballygunge:-
Four (04) pairs of EMU locals will be diverted and short terminated at/short originated from Sealdah North. Further, four (04) pairs of EMU will be short terminated at/short originated from Ballygunge during those 03 days.
Cancellations:
Four (04) UP & Four (04) DOWN trains will remain cancelled on aforementioned 03 days.
Passengers are advised to keep themselves updated from official enquiry system for obtaining accurate information. Frequent announcements will be made through Public Address System about cancellations/short terminations/short originations of trains for awareness of Rail users. Inconvenience cause to the passengers is deeply regretted.
